Yes, you are welcome to bring up to 2 dogs with you when staying in this property. If you would like to bring more, please email as not all properties would be suitable due to space restrictions. Please remember to add them to your booking. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times as we have a range of farm animals on site and we’re surrounded by farmland that may have cattle in. Furthermore, not all dogs get along and not all guests like to be greeted by dogs who are desperate to say hello!

However, due to the Covid-19 cleaning requirements, arrivals may not be possible before 5pm. To ensure social distancing is maintained, we will contact guests on the day of their arrival with a specific check in time.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer early check in. However, if your property is ready before our standard check in time we will contact to let you know you can arrive earlier.

You can collect the keys to your accommodation at the property. We live on site so can be there to welcome you to Higher Trewithen.

Yes. We have a range of additional items that you can book for your stay. Please be sure to request these items at the time you make your booking.

Yes, we provide one hand towel and one bath towel/sheet per person and an additional hand towel.

Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi. However, it is copper wire and not very reliable. 

We have looked long and hard for a way to make the Wi-Fi even better but we are yet to find a solution that works well, including 4G, as the granite walls are 2ft thick and impede the signal.

If strong, consistent Wi-Fi is essential to the enjoyment of your stay we do not recommend that you book to stay with us at this time. 

For now, most guests enjoy the peace and quiet being out of superfast Wi-Fi range affords and we love seeing families spending quality time together without devices getting in the way.

We offer free parking at Higher Trewithen and have space for about 15 cars or so.

We do not have allocated parking and we ask that guests park considerately and not block any paths. 

Short breaks are available; we charge a percentage of our weekly tariff depending on the number of nights booked.
