A beautiful Cornish cottage for 2, set within the grounds of a 17th Century farm. Your private entrance brings you directly into the kitchen-dining and sitting room with views of our communal courtyard.
Near Falmouth, Truro and Redruth, The Cottage at Higher Trewithen Holiday Cottages is the perfectly situated for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer, from days on the beach, woodland walks and cultural delights.
Short breaks also welcome (minimum of 3 nights).
The Cottage offers comfortable accommodation for couples of up to 2 people and dogs are welcome too.
The cottage is comfortable and well equipped property with views of our communal courtyard.
Your private entrance brings you directly into the kitchen-dining area. A spacious sitting room is located to the right and features a large flat screen TV and a Blueray player.
The well-equipped kitchen, features everything you might need for your self-catering holiday such as a fridge/freezer, Bosch oven with hob and plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses, pts and pans make this a perfect holiday cottage for a relaxing break.
Controllable, electric heating throughout, thick granite walls and a built-in air filtration system, make this a wonderfully cosy cottage in the winter and perfectly cool in the summer.

Note on Accessibility: Shallow step up into property. All rooms are situated on the ground floor.

We have designed our cottages and apartments with your peace and tranquillity in mind. From our super comfy beds, to our quiet courtyard and wild surrounds, you can switch off from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some time together.
We are happy to advise you on some great restaurants and days out to give you the dream getaway you need.
Being where we are, we are constantly reminded of the beauty of nature and our duty to protect our natural surrounds however we can.
We are taking small steps to be as environmentally friendly as we can be. We hope that these small steps will help in more significant ways.

All of our cottages and apartments are dog-friendly, although we ask that you arrange this with us ahead of time.
We charge £25 per dog, per stay. We supply drinking bowls and a welcome hamper for your pooch to enjoy.
We ask that you kindly keep your pets out of the bedrooms and not allow them on the furniture if possible, or use a throw. Accidents do happen, and we ask that you clean them where possible or advise us if there are any problems. Additional cleaning charges may be required in some cases.
Please do not leave your dog(s) unattended in the properties at any time. We find that they can become distressed in unfamiliar situations, which can cause upset for them or our other guests.
We have acres of grounds for you to explore with your four-legged friends, but we do ask that you keep them on a lead at all times. We know that even the most well-behaved pup can become rather excited at their first meeting with a sheep or horse.
We also ask that you keep our grounds and the local area clean by tidying up after your dog. Should you need any additional bags during your stay, just let us know!
Fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, our seven self-catering apartments and cottages have rural WiFi, hot water via solar power, or a timer when no solar available, and central heating for those cooler Cornish days.
We make your beds up ahead of your stay and supply towels too. We also give you a hand to get you started with the basics, so we provide eco-friendly and cruelty free washing up liquid, surface cleaner and sanitiser and a few loo rolls. For a complete list of what we include, please see our FAQS.
Should you need them, you can hire a high chair, stairgate and cot ahead of your arrival.
Please note, we have a strict non-smoking policy inside all of our accommodation, and we ask that you kindly refrain from using candles or incense as a safety precaution.
